Negative and imbalance prices reach wind producers directly. Every megawatt you cannot take off during a negative hour is a megawatt you are paying to produce. For asset owners that shows up as subsidy exposure and lost margin; for traders and aggregators, as imbalance penalties.

Most turbines have no easy steering path at all. Retrofitting through the OEM is often quoted at a price that removes the business case, and adding a new turbine brand to an existing control platform can take months of integration work.

We think this should be easier. That’s why we built the Teleport.

The Teleport supports Enercon, Vestas, EWT, Nordex, and others. For turbines not yet in our library, we build the integration at no charge.

Curtail on signal, in under a second

When a curtailment signal comes in — from your trader, your optimization platform, or directly from the grid operator — the Teleport executes it in sub-second time. Active power is adjusted to an absolute setpoint or a percentage reduction. No manual intervention or delay.

Connect to any trader or aggregator

One standardized JSON REST API for monitoring and control. Your trading or optimization platform connects once and steers every asset behind it, with data forwarded in parallel to your own database, message broker or webhook.

Deliver FCR, aFRR and congestion services

Sub-second round-trip. High uptime. Pre-set fail-safe behavior if cloud connectivity drops.

Meet grid operator requirements across Europe

RfG compliance is mandatory above 1 MW in a growing number of European markets, and a non-compliant asset cannot go live. The Teleport is a certified endpoint in NL, BE, DK, GR and DE.

Works on hybrid sites too (PV, BESS…)

Co-located PV or BESS? The Teleport manages all assets from a single unit. Wind, solar, and battery dispatch are coordinated behind the meter, within a shared grid connection limit. Physical and contractual grid limits are respected in real time.

Belgian Eco Energy needed a secure link between a single turbine and its BEE HIVE platform. The Teleport was installed directly in the high-voltage substation, connecting the turbine without a separate OEM channel.

Eneco’s wind farm was designed before real-time steering existed, with no digital integration path. Nine turbines were retrofitted and connected to the Shared Energy Platform, and now curtail in real time.

Wind and BESS on one grid connection

Aire runs wind and battery storage on a single grid connection. The Teleport coordinates both assets from one unit, dispatching wind and battery power within the shared connection limit, enforced locally rather than in the cloud.

Which turbine brands are in the asset library today?

Enercon, Vestas, Nordex, EWT and NEG Micon are supported today, alongside 450+ asset types across solar, storage, EV charging and metering — see the asset library for current compatibility. Anything missing is added at no charge.

Can our trader or VPP platform integrate directly?

Yes. The Teleport Cloud API is a JSON REST interface built for traders, aggregators and EMS platforms to send control commands and retrieve device status, documented at teleport.withthegrid.com/api.

Do you monitor the Teleport and our assets for us?

Yes: devices and connected assets are monitored continuously, covering availability, connectivity and anomalies, with direct notification if something needs attention. Standard and extended monitoring SLAs are both available.
